What this service is

Popup Sale Finder lists temporary local sales that sellers post themselves. We are not a party to anything bought or sold at them.

What is actually for sale, its condition and ownership, pricing, permits, sales tax, and whether a sale happens at all are the seller's responsibility.

Tags are not an inventory

Tags tell you what kinds of things a sale has. They're not an inventory, and they don't guarantee any particular item is still there when you arrive.

Sale addresses are public

A published sale's address and map pin are public while the sale is live — that is how people find it. It stops appearing in search and on the map once the last scheduled day ends.

A seller's name appears only if they chose to show it. Account details — email address, billing, sign-in identity — are never shown publicly.

What we store about you

If you sign in, we store your account identifier and email address, the sales you save, the areas you save, and — if you turn on notifications — a push subscription for each device.

Searching and browsing need no account and store nothing about you.

Notifications

We send a notification only for something you saved: a reminder for a sale you saved, a daily list for an area you saved, and a warning if a sale you saved is cancelled or moved. Sellers cannot send you messages and cannot choose who hears from us.

Paying, and refunds

Shoppers pay nothing, ever. Sellers pay to list: $9.99 for 10 credits, where 1 credit posts one sale, or $99.99 a year for up to 52 flyer-listings.

Ask within 30 days of a charge and we refund it in full. For credits that means the whole pack, whether or not you have spent some of it; for the Business tier it means the whole year. After 30 days a charge is not refundable, but nothing renews automatically, so there is never a payment you did not choose to make.

Both are single payments. Nothing here renews automatically — there is no subscription to forget about and nothing to cancel. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Credits do not expire from age or from disuse. An account with no activity at all for three years may have an unused balance written off, which exists to satisfy unclaimed-property law rather than as a use-it-or-lose-it rule; signing in is activity.

Routes you build

A route is planned for one day, and it drops off your saved list 7 days after that day has passed — it has stopped being a plan by then, and a list of every route you ever built is a list nobody reads.

Leaving that list is not deletion. We keep the route itself for 365 days from the day you built it: the stops, the order, the arrival times and where you set off from. If you need one back after it has left your list — and people do, for reasons that have nothing to do with shopping — email support@popupsalefinder.com and we can retrieve it while it is inside that year. After 365 days it is erased and cannot be recovered by anyone.

A route is yours alone. It is never shown to a seller, and it is not used to build any profile of where you go.

Deleting your account

Anyone can delete their account themselves. Shoppers can do it from Your account, and it takes effect immediately: the sales you saved, the areas you saved, and every device you registered for notifications are erased, with no holding period and no way to undo it.

Sellers delete from their seller account. Every listing is taken out of public view immediately, and the data is held for 90 days before being erased, so a deletion made by mistake can be undone inside that window.

Any credits you have not spent are forfeit when you delete your account. Deleting ends the entitlement, not just the data, and a balance cannot be restored afterwards. If you have credits left and want them refunded, ask before you delete — within 30 days of the charge we will.

Either way this deletes your Popup Sale Finder account and not your Nolan Media account, which is your sign-in and stays yours.
